Michael Stone is a physician assistant with strong clinical training and a focused interest in orthopedic care. At Somers Orthopaedics, he supports patients through every stage of treatment. His goal is to help patients feel confident in their care and return to the activities they enjoy.
Michael completed an orthopedic elective at New York Orthopedics. During this rotation, he assisted in procedures such as rotator cuff repair, hip labral repair, and ACL reconstruction. He also performed patient exams and reviewed imaging to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
His clinical background includes experience in family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, pediatrics, surgery, psychiatry, and women’s health. Michael values patient education and clear communication. He takes time to listen to concerns and explain next steps in a simple way.
Michael believes teamwork is an important part of great orthopedic care. He works closely with the orthopedic team to support each patient’s care plan, from the first visit through recovery.
