I would highly recommend Somers Orthopedic to anyone in need of Orthopedics treatment for knee problems or carpal tunnel syndrome. The office is very professional and nice from the front staff, assistants to the PA’s & doctors. I especially love Dr. Fauser and his PA Laura Klein.

I had an appointment scheduled with Dr. Maghen. I was seen by the Physicians Assistant instead. The PA was very kind and very knowledgeable. However, the issue I have was I never saw the doctor that I researched and made the appointment with. It seems that the doctor may have looked at my x-rays and decided that all I needed was PT and there was no need for him to come and evaluate me himself so he had the PA come into the exam room.
And even though I never saw the doctor, I am being billed as if I saw Dr. Maghen. I called twice to speak with the office supervisor and she never returned my call. Very shady to bill a patient for a doctor that never even saw the patient!
This practice is all about making money.

Several joint replacements with Dr Fauser and each experience has been outstanding. His bedside manner and willingness to explain and answer any questions is second to none. Each time everyone is amazed on my recovery and lack of pain. Even my physical therapist remarked on the great job he did. We are lucky to have such a great surgeon available to us.

Somers Orthopedic Group is exceptional. After my first visit with Dr. Joel Buchalter, while he came highly recommended, I knew I made the right choice. The medical staff are professional yet personable. The office staff are friendly and on top of all the paperwork. The surgical team and anesthesiologists made me extremely comfortable and let me know I was in great hands. I strongly recommend Somers to all.
